Mrs. Macie Pauline McCaleb Stamps, 85, resident of Dearborn, Michigan, died Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Regency Health Care Center in Taylor, Michigan. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Johnny Mack Young officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Union Cemetery. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Clifford McCaleb and Sallie Evaline Twomey McCaleb. On February 18, 1940 she married Robert T. Stamps who preceded her in death December 3, 1993. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Anderson of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; one son, Robert S. (Ann) Stamps of Dearborn, Michigan; three sisters, Agnes Brooks and Dorothy King both of Columbia and Tempie Smith of Mt. Carmel; and four grandchildren, Shannon Anderson, Kelly (John) Keyes, Melanie Stamps and Nicole Stamps. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Garner and Catherine George and one brother, Floyd Wilson McCaleb.
