View Funeral Webcast Mr. Mack B. Harris, 94, retired farmer and logger and resident of Colonial Road in Hohenwald, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Elton Jackson and Marion West officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of the late Earl B. Harris and Brownie Burkett Harris. He was a long-time member of Grinder's Creek Church of Christ. He married the former Sara Frances Goslin November 11, 1945. Mrs. Harris died August 27, 2001. Survivors include daughters, Mary Lou (Marion) West of Murfreesboro and Faye (Rick) Hinson of Columbia; sons, Dan (Gracie) Harris of Franklinton, North Carolina, Ray (Barbara) Harris of Hohenwald, and Allen G. (Cathy) Harris of Hohenwald; sisters, Christine Howell of Columbia and Earline Grimmett of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; sister-in-law, Frankie Harris of Columbia; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and care-giver, Don Rex Talley of Linden. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harley B. Harris. Mr. Harris' grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include members of Grinder's Creek Church of Christ.
