Maddox Ray Jackson, 8, resident of Petty Hollow Road in Lynnville, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Monroe Carell, Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Barry Farris officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Ronald McDonald House, 2144 Fairfax Avenue, Nashville, TN 37212. Maddox attended Richland Elementary School. He loved playing at the park with his brothers, swimming, and playing on his tablet. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, Brandon and Crysty Jackson of Lynnville, survivors include his twin brother, Warren Jackson; brother Bentley Jackson; maternal grandparents, Carolyn and Ken Spahr of Lynnville; paternal grandparents, Deborah Jackson of Lynnville; Ricky (Anita) Jackson of Pulaski; great grandparents, Joyce (Gary) Sanders of Lynnville; Peggy Victory of Lewisburg; aunts, Selena Jackson of Knoxville; Sabrina (Otis) Steele of Lynnville; cousins, Katie Steele and Haley Steele both of Lynnville; aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Mark Pilkinton, Jessica White, Josh Staggs; and several other great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Active pallbearers will be John Michael Church, Jeff Loveless, Charles Victory, Sr., Jonathan Potts, Charles Victory, Jr., and Otis Steele.
