View Video TributeView Funeral Service Webcast Mae E. Rochelle Jarrett Hodge, 88, resident of Tom Lunn Road in Spring Hill, died Monday, January 16, 2012 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Michael Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville. A native of Centerville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Rochelle and Carlie Mathis Rochelle. She was first married to Lorin S. Jarrett who preceded her in death April 13, 1978. She later married George Frank Hodge who preceded her in death October 18, 2011. Mrs. Hodge was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church. She was a good, kindhearted person who loved children, animals and life in general. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Diane Jarrett (Kenneth) Craft of Nashville, Misty Rochelle Jarrett (Van) Phillips of Spring Hill; one son, Michael Stevens (Stephanie) Jarrett of Lafayette; five grandchildren, Wendy Diane Craft (Scott) Hessey, Bethany Lee Jarrett, Richard Maxwell Jarrett, Brian Michael (Laura) Jarrett, Alexis "Lexi" Paige Silva; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Bailey of Augusta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Debra Denise Craft, sister, Faye Allen Flowers and a brother, William Rochelle. The men from Grace Park Church will serve as pallbearers.
