Margaret Hill Fogg

Mrs. Margaret Hill Fogg, 89, resident of North Laurel Circle, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12 noon until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Highland Church of Christ Building Fund, 497 E. The Limestone County, Alabama native was the daughter of the late Jim Henry Hill and Eula Belle Watkins Hill. On May 28, 1938 she married Dumont Fogg who preceded her in death April 28, 2006. She had been a seamstress at Edric Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Fogg was a member of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Joan F. and Dan Harmon of Atlanta, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Gayle Fogg of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Shirley Fogg Hayden of Columbia; six grandchildren, Chris Fogg, Guy Fogg, Sherry Fogg Arnold, Neal Fogg, Dana Harmon Hunter, Julia Harmon Grama; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Phillip Fogg and Joel Fogg; one grandson, Reese Harmon; four sisters; and three brothers. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders and Deacons of Highland Church of Christ.
