Margaret Spires Mcclain

Mrs. Margaret Louise Spires McClain, 66, waitress and resident of North Main St., died Monday, January 28, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Johnson and Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will be in McClain Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Paul Rogers Spires and Rosie Viola Wiley Spires. She was married to Jerry McClain who preceded her in death August 11, 2006. Survivors include one brother, Bobby Joe Spires of Columbia and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Watson and Mrs. Shirley Bunting both of Columbia. Pallbearers will be Danny Grooms, Charlie Grooms, Donny Ray Spires, Michael Denny, Roy Wayne Grooms and B.J. Spires. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Oncology Department at Maury Regional Hospital, employees of the Cancer Center at Maury Regional Hospital and employees of Core Physicians.
