View Funeral WebcastMrs. Margaret Ann "Marge" Wells McKee, 74, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her loving husband, children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. James McKee officiating. Burial will be in Neapolis Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 12noon until time of service at the funeral home. A native of Mt. Vernon, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Delbert Wells and Dorothy Purbaugh Wells and a 1952 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved playing bingo, bowling and antiquing. She was affectionately known at Pillow Park as "Grandma". Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Wayne Gordon McKee of Columbia; two daughters, Lori McKee of San Francisco, California, Lisa McKee of Williamsport; three sons, Michael (Tina) McKee of Louisville, Kentucky, Ron McKee of Columbia, Doug (Sandy) McKee of Duck River; sister, Pat Ruggles of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; brother, Terry (Connie) Wells of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Wes McKee, Kelly McKee, Kristin McKee, Elizabeth McKee, Maygon McKee, Amanda McKee, Austin McKee, Ashley Zerweck; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Wells, Bill Wells and one sister, Shirley Varlos. Pallbearers will be Wes McKee, Austin McKee, John Zerweck, Adam Voss, Terry B. Wells and Tim Wells.
