Margaret Caldwell Miller

Mrs. Margaret Jane Caldwell Miller, 80, resident of Lady Diana Drive, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at NHC Hillview. A memorial service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Jim Henning officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Endicott, New York native was the daughter of the late William Lindsey Caldwell and Marcella Hester Rhodes Caldwell. On April 22, 1946 she married John J. "Jack" Miller who preceded her in death on October 2, 2005. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker, a very good seamstress, antique dealer, and was very proud of her two grandsons who are attorneys. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Judy M. (Bradley M.) Carter of Columbia; two grandsons, Patrick M. (Diana) Carter of Columbia, Bradley Michael (Kristen) Carter of Clarksville; one great-granddaughter, Grace Carter of Columbia; and one sister, Sue (Samuel) Kucko of Horseheads, New York. She was preceded in death by one son, James Patrick Miller and an infant daughter, Marcia Ann Miller.
