Mrs. Margaret Harlan Holt Sisk, 91, longtime resident of Cross Bridges, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Muston officiating. Burial will be in Cross Bridges Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Reuben Holt and Lucy Hines Holt. She was married to Jessie B. Sisk who preceded her in death in 1997. She was a seamstress for several clothing manufacturers including Weather Tamer, Dixie Manufacturing and Maury Manufacturing. Mrs. Sisk was a member of Viola Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Ruby (Tommy) Johnson of Columbia; five grandchildren, Mike (Valerie) Johnson, Susan Johnson both of Columbia, Mitchell (Sharon) Johnson of St. Augustine, Florida, Jeff (Tammy) Sisk of Mt. Pleasant, Debbie (Tim) Vinson of Franklin; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, J.M. "Butch" Sisk, two brothers, Jim Massey and John Holt, one sister, Elese Scott and one great-grandchild, Stephanie Ann Johnson. Pallbearers will be Mike Johnson, Gary Wayne Holt, Charles Holt, Adam Johnson, Mitch Johnson, Joey Peden, Brandon Sparkman and Jimmy Massey.
