Margaret Elizabeth Tucker

Miss Margaret Elizabeth Tucker, 91, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the home of her niece in Brentwood. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Stand Cemetery in Hickman County with John A. Rutledge and Dennis Womack officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. A native of Duck River in Hickman County, Miss Tucker was the daughter of the late Sam C. Tucker and Mary Erwin Anderson Tucker. She was a graduate of Hickman County High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial Science from Andrew Jackson University in Nashville. She was retired from Beaman Automotive in Nashville and was a member of Granny White Church of Christ. Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Doris T. Rutledge, five nieces and five nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Tucker, Carl Tucker, Glenn Tucker and two sisters, Lois Barclay and Mary Williams. Pallbearers will be Bill Williams, Tom Williams, Stephen Rutledge, William Rutledge, Matthew Cheatham and Marshall Cheatham.
