MRS. MARGUERITE JONES BRADFORD Mrs. Marguerite Frances Jones Bradford, 78, resident of Riverside Drive, died Saturday, October 5, 2002 at Life Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late Ezra Crawford Jones and Mary Irene Jernigan Jones. She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ. She was married July 22, 1938 to William Riley "Bill" Bradford, who preceded her in death August 29, 1999. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bobby (Betty) McPeak of Columbia; a son, James "Pete" (Paralee) Bradford of Hohenwald; a sister, Sara Jane Gemmel of Columbia; a brother, James Robert Jones of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; six grandchiildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces sand nephews. Active pallbearers are Steve Bradford, Jason Bradley, Josh Bradley, Justin Anderson, Michael Anderson and Jimmy Anderson. The staff of Life Care Center will serve as honorary pallbearers.
