Mrs. Marian Lucille Bell Brewer, 79, former resident of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Naples and Dunedin, Florida, died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.A prayer service will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Jeff Jacob and Rev. John Anderson officiating.Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) at North Naples Memorial Gardens in Naples, Florida with Pastor Harold Brown officiating. A native of Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late John Bell and Lucile Fry Bell. She was a graduate of Dyersburg High School and earning her teaching degree at Lambuth College in Jackson. Mrs. Brewer taught school in Naples, Florida for 21 years prior to her retirement to Dunedin, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Frank Brewer in 1974 and a daughter, Lulie Brewer in 1957. Survivors include a daughter, Becky (James) Smith of Crystal River, Florida; three sons, Dr. Mark (June) Brewer of Columbia, Toby (Dot) Brewer of Port Ritchie, Florida and Frank (Dawn) Brewer of Piedmont, South Carolina; three brothers, James Ward of Water Valley, Mississippi, Tommy Ward of Wauconda, Illinois and Jere Ward of Irving, Texas; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
