View Funeral Webcast Click to view Video Tribute Marilyn South LaCroix, 76, homemaker and resident of Culleoka, died Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Carol Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences maybe extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born July 21, 1945 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Opal South and the late Margaret Garner South. On February 25, 1966, she married James Doyle “Jack” LaCroix who preceded her in death August 31, 2016. Mrs. LaCroix enjoyed reading in earlier years, loved Jesus, reading her bible, and her family, where she was known as the director of the family. She was a member of Trinity Family Church. Survivors include her children, Laurie LaCroix of Culleoka, Pat LaCroix of Culleoka, Mandy LaCroix (Joseph) Parsons of Culleoka, Erin LaCroix (David) Tucker of Culleoka; sister, Glenda Lunn of Lynnville; grandchildren, Lauren Goodwin, Benton Tucker, Westen Parsons, Webb Parsons; special niece, Vickie Leonard of Lewisburg; and two that were very dear to her heart, Kaylee Goodwin, and Cole Goodwin. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeff LaCroix; twin sister, Carolyn South; and brother, Michael South. Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.
