Marjorie "Margie" Ruth Luna Grossman

Margie Grossman, 92, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 in Columbia, TN. Born in Miami, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Leilah Galvin Luna and the late Frank Luna. Margie grew up in Nashville. She married Joe Grossman in 1947 and moved to Columbia shortly thereafter. Margie led an active, full life; a busy mom, helping run the family business Grossman Jewelers, traveling, playing golf, and cooking. She spent warmer days in her yard; tending to flowers and welcoming friends who stopped by for a visit. Margie enjoyed countless hours playing cards with family and friends who felt like family. Gathering at Margie’s was always a special time to catch up on life’s happenings; conversations were always engaging and filled with laughter.Survivors include her daughters; Cathey Grossman, Nashville, TN; Terri Barrack, St Louis, MO; and Patti Faulder, New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by grandsons; Adam J Barrack, Santa Monica, CA; and Toby N Barrack, St Louis, MO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Joseph Morris Grossman.The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Ben Gardner and Rita Pace of Hospice Compassus.A private family graveside service will be held at Polk Memorial Gardens.
