Mrs. Rebecca Maron Rodgers Mrs. Rebecca Maron Jeter Rodgers, 93, retired cafeteria worker at Whitthorne, homemaker, and former resident of Apache Trail, died Monday, December 19, 2005, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. David McGregor and Rev. Calvin Lunn officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Wilbur Bell Jeter and Martha Lee Webb Jeter. She was married to John Windsor "Wink" Rodgers who preceded her in death in January 1959. A member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church since age twelve; she and her twin sister were two of the oldest members. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn (Wayne) Hickman of Columbia; two sons, John Dennis Rodgers and James "Jimmy" Wilbur (Ellen) Rodgers, both of Columbia; twin sister, Mildred Jeter Blocker of Columbia; four grandchildren, Bethany Carol Hickman (Mark) Brothers, John Dennis Rodgers, Jr., Rebecca "Becky" Rodgers (Robert) Patterson, Jencie Harmon; six great grandchildren, Stephanie Brothers, Cody Patterson, Jacob Patterson, Chelsea Patterson, Nathan Rodgers, and Tristin Harmon; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Loftin and Jewell Latta, both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Ann Rodgers; four sisters, Elsie Allen, Kate Hamilton, Ruby Thompson, Gladys Jeter; and one brother, Wilbur Bell Jeter. Pallbearers will be Clyde Yeager, Mark Brothers, Kenny Latta, Roger Demastus, Tommy Cook, Bobby Yeager, Mike Jeter, Cliff Loftin, Jeffrey Collier, Tommy Speed, and Ronnie Hamilton. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Rosewood Manor.
