Martha Jean Minor Sharp

Mrs. Martha Jean Minor Sharp, 70, retired employee of Maury Regional Hospital and resident of Morris Avenue, died Thursday, November 2, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jesse Woodard Sharp of Columbia; two daughters, Mrs. Deborah (Steve) Patterson of Mt. Pleasant; Susan A. Sharp of Columbia; one son, James Randel (Vicki) Sharp of Culleoka; two grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Sharp of Culleoka; Matthew Steven Patterson of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Bessie McMeen and Louise (Harold) Holt, both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be staff of Dialysis Center, Prime Timers Sunday School Class, Lynn Stewart, Cookie Sutherland, Herschel Currie, Dr. John Maloof, Dr. Mike Sattasiri, Dr. Ben Gardner and Dr. Grant Barr.
