MARVIN HALL Mr. Marvin Douglas Hall, 91, retired forty-seven year employee of DuPont Chemical Company and resident of Sheddan Drive, died Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Northview Church of Christ with Wayne B. Hardison, Hueston Marshall and David Davidson officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. The Wilson County native was the son of the late James Washington Hall and Nola Campbell Hall. He was a 1931 graduate of Hume Fogg High School. He was founder of Columbia Regional Credit Union and fourteen year member of Tennessee Credit Union League. Mr. Hall was a member of Valley District Civitan International for over fifty years and was a past Governor. He was a member of Northview Church of Christ where he served as an Elder for forty-eight years. Survivors include his wife of seventy years, Edith Davis Hall of Columbia; two daughters, Jacqueline Hall (James) Hill of Franklin, Judith Hall (Randell) Rummage of Columbia; brother, Charles Milton (Alvetta) Hall of Monument, Colorado; four grandsons, Hardin Douglas (Dana) Hill, David Michael (Lori) Hill, Randell Dugger Rummage, Jr., Robert Douglas Rummage; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Anne Rummage (Gerry) Parker, Julia Renee Rummage (Todd) Parsley; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers will be elders and deacons of Northview Church of Christ, Members of Columbia Civitan Club (Valley District and International) and Maury Regional Hospital volunteers, and Columbia Regional Credit Board.
