Mrs. Mary Bonds Clark, 85, retired from Publix Manufacturing Company and resident of Columbia Highway in the Lynnville Community, died Monday, September 11, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Mr. Milton Perry officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late James Willis Bonds and Mamie Purtam Bonds and attended Jones High School in Lynnville. She was a member of Lynnville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Clark, in 1998. Survivors include a sister, Kate Bonds Steele of Columbia and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers are Mike Bonds, Jeff Bonds, Wade Bonds, Malcolm Bonds, Billy Pierce, and Joe Pierce. Honorary pallbearers are Floyd Horne, Giles Collier, Mike Burchell, Bobby Head, Raymond Pigg, and Milton Perry.
