Mary Catherine Cheatham

Mary Catherine Cheatham, 84 retired nurse anesthetist and former resident of Mooresville Pike, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at NHC of Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Troy Dugger officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Luther Marvin Cheatham and Bessie Sue Baxter Cheatham. She retired from Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Mrs. Cheatham was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Granville Cheatham, Patricia Garner, Jack Taylor, Terry Cheatham, Charlene Wakefield, Geneva Thigpen, Steven Scott, Stanley Scott, Debra Lehnert, Mary Bailey Palmer, Laurette Cheatham, David Cheatham, Tom Cheatham, Barbara Sue Cheatham, Janelle Purdle, Diane Letner, Margo Cheatham, Karen Langdon, and Shelia Burnette. Pallbearers will be Jack Taylor, Granville Cheatham, Steven Scott, Stanley Scott, Daniel Scott, David Wakefield, and Terry Cheatham. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Culleoka Church of Christ.
