View Funeral WebcastMary Ann Snyder Cothron, 83, retired employee of Weather Tamer and resident of Cornelia Avenue, died Monday, May 29, 2017, at Maury Regional Medical Center. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home concluding with a service for family and friends. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Born June 9, 1933, in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Snyder and the late Beatrice Rainey Snyder. On April 6, 1948, she married Dorris Ritter Cothron who preceded her in death February 1, 2000. Mrs. Cothron was a member of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include her sons, Ritter (Olivia) Cothron of Columbia, Daniel (Helen) Cothron of Chattanooga, Travis (Ann) Cothron of Dickson; daughters, Ann Marie (Matt) Marquis of Burns, Donna (Larry) White of Columbia; grandchildren, Corrinne (Shawn) Reed, Cameron (Leeann) Cothron, Rick (Jennifer) Glaser, Damon Cothron, Trevor (Hannah) Cothron, Casey (Ashley) Cothron, Colby (Jessica) Cothron, Peter (Anna) Prestwich, Dustin Gibson, Derrick (Tia) Gibson; great grandchildren, Aaron (Hanna) Reed, Ava (Jeremy) Roberts, Cydnee Cothron, Brady Cothron, Raymond Glaser, Delaney Glaser, Savannah Glaser, Mckinley Cothron, Saylor Cothron, Caimen Cothron, Madden Cothron, Oliver Prestwich, Mae Prestwich, Addison Cothron, Aubrey Cothron, Ian Gibson, Zeke Gibson; great great grandchildren, A. J. Reed and Tyler Roberts; brother, James (Theresa) Snyder; sister, Betty Jo (Bill) Allen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bub Snyder and Bobby Snyder; and sister, Judy Pierle.
