Mrs. Mary Parker Crick, 76, retired cook for Big John's Bar-B-Q on Bear Creek Pike and resident of General Roberts Drive, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Leon Parker and Ruby Hill Parker. She was a graduate of Haylong High School in Mt. Pleasant and attended Columbia Business College. She was a member of Loyal Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She was married July 25, 1950 to CSM (ret) James R. Crick who preceded her in death October 19, 2002. Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Sue Haulk of Arrington; a granddaughter, Jessica Leila Haulk of Chapel Hill and a grandson, Jarrod Sanders Haulk of Arrington; aunt, Edith Hill Anglin of Kenosha, Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Billy Crick of Texas; sisters-in-law, Joyce (Thomas) Fisher of Nolensville and Mary Crabtree of Lewisburg; several cousins. Active pallbearers are men of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers are William Anglin and James Eddie Anglin.
