View Video Tribute  View Funeral Webcast  Mary Etta Oliver Davis, 85, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at her residence on School Street in Columbia surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Steven Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Spencer Hill Cemetery. Born July 27, 1933 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Herman Murphy Oliver and the late Myrtle Dugger Oliver. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Dixie Manufacturing and Weather Tamer, Inc. Survivors include her daughters, Gloria Ann (Tommy) Hendrix, Lou Ellen Miller, Sherry Bates, Tammy Davis, Jennifer Wiseman, Melissa Davis Gray; grandchildren, Amanda Lewis, Harold Wayne Richardson, Jr., Robin Osborne, Micheal Ray Davis, Jr., Mitchell Davis, Mickey Davis, Lucas Davis, Denise Salerno, Rebecca Sanders, Beth Gray, Travis Wiseman; twenty-three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sisters, Cathey Sinden and Connie Terry; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Alton Davis and Micheal Ray Davis, Sr.; great grandchild, Gavin Salerno; and siblings, Herman Oliver, Jerry Oliver, Randy Oliver, Argie Oliver, Linda Dugger, and Gracie Haywood. Active pallbearers will be Harold Wayne Richardson, Jr., Micheal Ray Davis, Jr., Mitchell Davis, Mickey Davis, Lucas Davis, Travis Wiseman, and Trevor Webb. Honorary pallbearers will include Mike Simmons, W. C. Brown, Jr., Derek Gray, Tristan Davis, Ryan Gray, and Devin Mitchell.
