View Video Tribute Mary Frances Bass Ervin, 66, a resident of Brown Street in Columbia, died Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Ervin will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Born September 18, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Roy Bass and the late Frances Cheek Bass. Mrs. Ervin loved country music and country music stars. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and more than anything loved being a Nana. Survivors include her children, Lisa (Malcomb) Stewart, Lori Rich and Joey (Tabitha) Ervin all of Columbia; sisters, Barbara Haney of Washington, Utah and Sue Madison of Spring Hill; brothers, Dwight Bass and David (Teresa) Bass both of Nevada; grandchildren, Kari Ervin, Haley Rich, Dustin Rich, Delaney Ervin, Josie Ervin, and Dalton Ervin; Step-grandson, Dylan Smith; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Jaylon, Chris, Levi, Kason, Alejandra; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Bass and Wayne Bass; sister, Margaret Michel. Active pallbearers will be Dustin Rich, Dalton Ervin, Anthony Rivera, Jaylon Rivera, Chris Garcia, Trenton Posey and Dennis Posey, Jr.
