Mary Jane Greene Forsythe

Mrs. Mary Jane Greene Forsythe, 76, died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at her residence on Stonewall Drive. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Kentucky. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to PAWS of Maury County, 1233 Mapleash Avenue, Columbia, Tennessee 38401. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Shelbyville, Kentucky native was the daughter of the late Claude Greene and Grace Vaughan Greene Palmer. She was a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. She was married May 17, 1955 to Herschel Reed "H.R." Forsythe who died August 22, 1991. Survivors include a daughter, Sara Reed (Cedric) Peachey of Columbia; two grandsons, Matthew Reed (Katie Martin) Peachey of Antioch and Kenneth Church of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Michael Roeder, Aaron Lacefield, Craig Lacefield, Matthew Smith, Kenneth Church, and Matthew Peachey.
