Mary Joyce Bolton Brewer Adkison, 87, retired employee of Hardee’s and resident of Dickson, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her daughter’s residence in Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Johnny Felker officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Born May 17, 1934 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late William Charles Bolton and the late Eunice Morgan Bolton. Mrs. Adkison was a member of Graymere Church of Christ for 30 years until she moved to Dickson and became a member of Ponds Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, whom she married March 8, 2002, Billy Adkison of Dickson; daughters, Carolyn Faye (Larry) Goats of Columbia; Beverly (Ed) Petrovich of Columbia; son, Michael Glenn (Paula) Brewer of Columbia; sisters, Letha Smith of Columbia; Betty Thomas of Columbia; brother, Benny Bolton of Columbia; step-sons, Daryl Adkison of Texas; Greg Adkison of Dickson; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and special pets, Buster, Bree, Lucy, and Miss Kitty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Charles David Brewer, Frank Edward Brewer; sisters, Evelyn Felker, Bonnie Dukes, Shelby Hanvy; and brother, Bill Bolton. Active pallbearers will be Brian Goats, Jason Puckett, Dustin Brewer, Kayden Kelley, Jake Latimer, Rob Latimer, Camden Randall, and Ricky Randall.
