Mary KeslerMrs. Mary Elizabeth Montgomery Kesler, 86, resident of Poplar Estates, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ted Burleson officiating. Burial will be Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in Lawrenceville Cemetery in Lawrenceville, Illinois. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Montgomery and Minna Connelly Montgomery. She was a graduate of Lawrenceville High School and attended William Woods College. She and her husband of over sixty years, James E. Kesler, were long-time residents of Mattoon, Illinois. She was a member of West Seventh Street Church of Christ.In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Michael (Glenda) Kesler of Columbia, Patrick (Sharon) Kesler of Springfield, Illinois; five grandchildren, Debbie (Jeff) Hofbauer of Murfreesboro, Jan (David) Thomas of Columbia, Jill (Bryan) Shephard of Canton, Ohio, Kim (Ryan) Pierce of Streator, Illinois, John Kesler of Springfield, Illinois; and nine great-grandchildren.
