MRS. MARY ANNE RYAN Mrs. Mary Anne Pigg Ryan, 60, widow of Thornton Ryan and resident of Mingo Branch Road in Santa Fe, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Curtis Dowdy, Greg Smith and Johnny Mack Young officiating. Burial will be in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Santa Fe native was the daughter of the late Burton Farris Wesley Pigg and Ivie Fitzgerald Pigg. She was a graduate of Santa Fe High School and a retired bookkeeper with Goodyear Tires in Columbia. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include one sister, Linda Sue Pigg (Jim) Reams of Boydton, Virginia; one niece, Cathy Reams of Boydton, Virginia; one aunt, Mrs. Louise Anderson of Columbia; and several cousins. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Fitzgerald, James Fitzgerald, Timothy Fitzgerald, Lee Rittenberry, Daniel Rittenberry, John Rittenberry, Ashley Brown and Tony Foster.
