Mary Ruth Daniels Shouse

Mrs. Mary Ruth Daniels Shouse, 79, retired employee of Ford Motor Company in Dearborne, Michigan and resident of Stevens Court, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 12:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wendell Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Santa Fe Cemetery. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Alvin Daniels and Bessie Mae Dickey Daniels. She was married for fifty-seven years to James Fred Shouse who preceded her in death December 13, 2002. She was a member of the Maury County Quilters Guild and Graymere Church of Christ. Survivors include three sons, Dennis (Barbara) Shouse of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Bill (Theresa) Shouse, Greg (Janie) Shouse both of Columbia; one brother, William Neal Daniels of Taylor, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Eric (Trina Cole) Shouse, Matt Shouse, Nicky (Brian) Hay, Jennifer Cravens, Jessica (Tony) Harris, Laura Isbell, Shea (Marc) Payne; four great-grandchildren, Shelby Hay, Sydney Hay, Allye Leland and Kaytlyn Owens. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Austin Daniels and one sister-in-law, Marilyn Daniels. Pallbearers will be Guy Potts, Gary Maxwell, Dwight Maxwell, Kenneth Brunson, Randy Maxwell, Marc Payne, Brian Hay and Tony Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Water Valley Church of Christ.
