Mary Edna "Missy" Cook Snedegar, 43, 1980 graduate of Columbia Central High School and former employee of Tennessee Farm Bureau, died Sunday, December 19, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. David McGregor officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. She married John Scott "Scotty" Snedegar December 1, 1984. He preceded her in death October 3, 2004. Survivors include two daughters, Traci Leigh Snedegar and Jody Lynn Snedegar; a son, Robert Thomas "Robby" Snedegar; her parents, Tommy and Norma Derryberry Cook; a brother, Hodge (Amber) Cook; maternal grandmother, Edna Hight Davidson; mother-in-law, Martha Ann Bryant Snedegar; aunts, Rosemary (Tommy) Bone and Cindy (Mike) King; a niece, Emily Cook; two nephews, Thomas Cook and Mark Cook, all of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Elvin Hill "Churn" Davidson and paternal grandparents, Mary Rodgers and Thomas Hodge Cook, Jr. Elders and Deacons of McCains Cumberland Presbyterian Church will serve as pallbearers including Billy Fitzgerald, A. C. Howell, Don Howell, Doug Howell, Gary Howell, Gene Howell, Randy Pullen, David Sanders, Gary Weatherford and John Uggla.
