Mary Lou Chambers Watson

Mrs. Mary Lou Chambers Watson, 69, former employee of Wal-Mart and resident of Rainbow Circle, died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Watts Hill Cemetery with Jeremy Butt officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Hall County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Monroe Chambers and Susie Ellen Dyer Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Jackson Watson. Survivors include two daughters, Michele Watson (Michael) Gemma and Sandra Whiteside, both of Columbia; a sister, Martha Davis of Culleoka; two granddaughters, Erica Gemma and Krystal Beckenbach; a grandson, Christopher Beckenbach; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are William Slaughter, Gary Holt, Gary Davis, Wayne Davis, Darrell Williams, and Stoney Brown.
