Mavis Delaine Mangrum Osborne, 70, resident of Old Columbia Road in Lewisburg, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jim Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Scribners Mill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born February 3, 1947 in Giles County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Jessie Mangrum and AZ Thomas Mangrum. An excellent seamstress, she worked for many different Textile Factories and from her home before going to work at Bedford County Hospital as an EKG Tech. Mrs. Osborne was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, whom she married March 16, 1985, Larry Osborne of Lewisburg; children, Jessica Kay Osborne-McClure and Alinka Shantay Corbin both of Lewisburg; sister, Debbie Kay McMillian of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Dylan Jones, John Jones, Nevaeh Christmas, and Isaiah Christmas all of Lewisburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Active pallbearers will be John Jones, Dylan Jones, Aaron McMillian, David Osborne, Grady Osborne, Justin Christmas, Matt McClure, and Isaiah Christmas. Honorary pallbearer will be James Anderson.
