Video Memories of Mayme Lawrence Jessop Mrs. Mayme Lou Lawrence Jessop, 93, resident of The Bridge since 2003, died Sunday, August 28, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Wayne Parks and Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will be in the Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park in Ogden, Utah at a later time. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Effingham, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lawrence and Adella Siddens Lawrence. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ogden, Utah. Mrs. Jessop was a former employee of Utah Tayloring Mills and the Ogden Defense Depot. She had a great love for flowers, birds and collectibles. She was well-known for her handiwork in making quilts and was awarded numerous ribbons at the Utah State Fair for her prize-winning flower and handiwork entries. Survivors include two sons and daughtes-in-law, Larry and Sharon Jessop of the Campbellsville Pike and Dan and Sally Jessop of Bow, Washington; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
