MD Cammuse

Mr. M.D. Cammuse, 79, retired employee of Union Carbide and resident of Kedron Road in Spring Hill, died Monday, December 13, 2004 at NHC Franklin. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bobby Sampson officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit friends Tuesday from 3 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Phoebe Cammuse. He was a member of Browns Chapel Church of Christ for over fifty years. Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Josephine Brown Cammuse of Spring Hill; one sister, Ruth Oliver of Nashville; son-in-law, Richard Collins of Spring Hill; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Cammuse of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Eugene Cammuse on February 27, 2003; a daughter, Beverly Collins on January 20, 2004; and two brothers, Edward Cammuse and Harold Harmon. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be retired employees of Union Carbide.
