Melissa Dawn Hickman

Melissa Dawn "Missy" Hickman, 39, former assistant supervisor of computer data for Paymaxx in Franklin and a resident of Apache Trail, died Friday, June 9, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with James Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (for Breast Cancer Research) P. O. The Maury County native was a 1985 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Survivors include her parents, Sammy and Shirley Galbreath Hickman of Columbia; sister, Kimberly Wilson of Hampshire; niece, Jenna and nephew, Kenzie; aunt, Linda Tomlin; uncle, Sonny Galbreath; cousins, Judy (Charlie) Morton, Jeff Stacey, Robbie Galbreath, Beverly Galbreath, Connie Green, Jeff Baker and Terri Jo White. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Shirley "Buster" Galbreath and Stella Holton Galbreath; paternal grandparents, Mahlon Hickman and Katherine Hickman Thompson; aunt, Betty Jean Galbreath Stacey. Active pallbearers are Jeff Baker, Jeff Stacey, Paxton Morton, Robbie Galbreath, Heath Newton, Charlie Morton, Ed Holton, and Danny Crutcher.
