View Funeral Webcast Ms. Mellisa Kay “Missy” Howell Wagner, 50, a resident of Spring Hill, died Saturday, October 30, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services for Ms. Wagner will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Peery and Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Born on February 18, 1971, she was the daughter of Terry H. Dixon and the late Nora Gail Dugger Dixon. She attended UT Martin and received her Bachelor’s Degree where she double majored in English and History. She was employed by Jacob’s Engineering Group and worked all over the country. Mrs. Wagner loved to travel, was an avid UT fan and loved kids. In addition to her father, she is survived by her aunts, Mary Jo (David) McMeen and Judy Stanfill; uncle, Mark Dugger; cousins, Jason (Karen) McMeen, Lisa (Chris) Prince, Loretta Green, Lenora Renee (Charlie) Fitzgerald, and Brandon (Whitney) Dixon; several nieces and nephews and other cousins. Pallbearers will be Brandon Dixon, David Grant Dixon, David Bone, Jason McMeen, Adison Fitzgerald, and Hunter Fitzgerald. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Fitzgerald, Brandon Bone, Adam Dugger, Mckale Dixon, and Jason Collie, friends and colleagues from Jacob’s Engineering Group.
