Video Memories of Missy SmithMelissa Danielle "Missy" Smith, 28, died Sunday, May 8, 2005 at her residence on Shenandoah Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Billy Felker and Dalton Cole officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the C.D.C. Class at Spring Hill High School, 1 Raider Lane, Spring Hill, 37174. Class at Spring Hill High School and attended the Lanton Church of Christ.Survivors include her parents, Danny W. and Letha Bolton Smith; sister, Mindy (Stephen) Yant; brother, Matthew Smith; paternal grandmother, Jessie King; aunts and uncles, Evelyn and Billy Felker, Glenda Bolton, Shelby and Herman Hanvy, Betty and Don Thomas, Benny and Alice Bolton, Jim and Geneva Miller, Jerry Smith, Diane Smith, all of Columbia, Mary and Bill Adkison of Dickson and Bonnie and Art Dukes of Atlanta, Georgia; many loving cousins. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Eunice and Charles Bolton; paternal grandfather, Lecil Smith and an uncle, William C. "Bill" Bolton.Active pallbearers are Matthew Smith, Stephen Yant, Brandon Mabry and Jimmy J. Miller. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Rufus Clifford, Dr. Pat Davis, Dr. Lucy Dirr Ledbetter, Staff of Columbia Pediatric Clinic, maternal and paternal cousins, members of the Lanton Church of Christ and 1999 Classmates at Spring Hill High School.
