Melody Gray Bowling

Mrs. Melody Gray Bowling, 46, former Licensed Practical Nurse and resident of N. Main Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with James Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the daughter of Talmas Lee Gray, Sr. and Cora Mayberry Gray of Columbia. She was a 1976 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Survivors in addition to her parents, are one son, Cole (fiancée, Amanda Sears) Bowling of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Lee Gray of Columbia; one sister, Teresa Robinson of Columbia; and one grandson, Ryan Paul Bowling of Columbia. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jefferey Gray. Pallbearers will be Johnny Sullivan, Dennis Scroggins, Mike Goatz, Tony Robinson, Joe Pipkin and Robert Sullivan.
