Always a believer in supporting our home state, he was loyal to the UT Vols, whether they were winning or losing. He managed the building of the new Culleoka Fire Hall with the help of volunteers. He was a charter member of the Culleoka FFA Alumni. Mr. Hickman was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ and was a faithful Christian to the end.
