Michael Jeffrey McDonald, 34, died Monday, March 13, 2006 at his residence on the Williamsport Pike. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Joe Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 3:00 - 9:00 and Thursday after 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Robert Michael McDonald and Donna Kay Dodson McDonald of Columbia. He was a 1989 graduate of Columbia Central High School. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, MaKayla Ann McDonald of Columbia; one son, Tanner Collins McDonald of Columbia; one brother, Jason Wayne McDonald of Flat Rock, Michigan; special friend, Erica Marie Damron and her children, Kayla Damron, Tristan Damron, Taylor Rodriguez, Tiffany Rodriguez; grandmother, Catherine Dodson of Columbia; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Black, Robert Truette, Joe Barela, Jason Barela, Brian Poore, Jeremy McCoy, Jimmy Blalock, Ray Prince, and Tim Thurman.
