Mickey Olivia Campbell Blalock, 96, homemaker and longtime resident of Maury County, died Tuesday at NHC Maury Regional. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3: 00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Billy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Faith Freewill Baptist Church, 1611 Nashville Hwy, Columbia, TN 38401. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born September 25, 1923 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late John Campbell and the late Susie Ann Riggins Campbell. She was a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Mickey (Randell) Dooley of Columbia; son-in-law, Terry Locke of Columbia; brother, Hershel Edward Campbell; grandchildren, Kevin Dooley, Jeffrey Locke, and Elisa (Barry) Walker; great grandchildren, Ariel Locke, Bryce Walker, and Rylan Walker; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Samuel Blalock, whom preceded her in death on June 19, 2005; daughter, Vickey Locke; sister, Mabel Ann Beard; brothers, Harold Campbell, Luther Thomas Campbell, Donald Campbell, John Campbell, Jr., and William Ray Campbell. Active pallbearers will include, David Brady, Kevin Dooley, Jeffrey Locke, Terry Locke, and Barry Walker. Honorary pallbearers will include members of Faith Freewill Baptist Church.
