Mildred Juanita Welch Lindsey, 75, retired Williamson County Circuit Court Clerk and resident of Foster Chapel Road, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Born August 4, 1943 in Williamson County, she was the daughter of the late Harold Welch and the late Mary Frances Beasley Welch. She was a great cook and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, shopping, making flower arrangements, fishing, and blue grass music. Mrs. Lindsey was a member of Arkland Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, whom she married February 12, 1987, Terry Lindsey; son, Shannon (Angel) Buttrey; grandsons, Jacob Buttrey, Ben Buttrey, Jonathan Buttrey; granddaughters, Haley Buttrey, Taylor Johnson, MacKenzie Johnson; brothers, Harold Welch, Jr., Buddy (Cheryl) Welch; sisters, Threesa Walton, Glenda Roberts, Pam (Larry) Smith, Paula Welch; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Buttrey; and granddaughter, Carla Buttrey. Pallbearers will be Jacob Buttrey, Ben Buttrey, Allen Welch, Brian Steakley, Josh Bradford, and Bobby Buttrey. Honorary pallbearers include coffee drinkers and music makers at Hardees.
