Mrs. Mildred Price Lovett, 80, widow of Cleve Lovett and retired from Publix Manufacturing Company, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Steve Swango and Rev. Russell Ward officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Florence, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Homer Scott Price and Bessie Kate Taylor Price and a 1945 graduate of Lawrence County High School. She was a long-time member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, James Charles (Virginia) Price of Columbia; sister-in-law, Elsie Price of Columbia; special friend, Faye Hartsfield of Columbia; several nieces and nephews; six- step-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Robin Lovett and Jean Ann Rogers. She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Lovett and David Lovett; a sister, Edna Hart; and three brothers, B. H. "Buck" Price, David Price, and L. S. Price. Active pallbearers are Mike Hooten, Donald Wilkins, Clyde Morton, Bobby Neese, Buster Ring, Josh Gleason, and Jake Gleason. Honorary pallbearers include men of Calvary Baptist Church.
