Mildred Sue Culberson, 76, homemaker and resident of Napier Drive, died Monday, December 16, 2019 at Magnolia Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ricky Clay officiating. Burial will Sunset Hill Cemetery in the Theta Community. Born December 25, 1942 in Williamson County, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Elizabeth Smith. Mildred was known as loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She could always turn any house into a home and always made you feel welcome. Mildred was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her son, James “Cub” Culberson; sisters, Martha Barnes; Barbara Ray; brother, Walter Smith; granddaughters, Davina Culberson; Shea Culberson; great grandson, Hezekiah Easley; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Lori Culberson; brother-in-law, Ted Barnes; and brother, James Thomas Smith. Active pallbearers will be Layne Barnes, Justin Wallace, Shawn Rochester, Wesley Rochester, Raymond Rochester, Mike Rochester, and Michael Hodge.
