MRS SIDNEY S. WILLIS Mrs. Mildred Jacobs Willis, 94, widow of Sidney S. Willis and long-time resident of Tom Fitzgerald Road, died Saturday, October 26, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Harvell Stockard officiating. Burial will be in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Jacobs and Pearl Fitzgerald Jacobs. She was a homemaker and member of the Knob Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Jack (Loris Jean) Willis of Columbia; a sister, Ernestine Church of Santa Fe; two grandchildren, Gary (Kim) Willis and Beth (Kerry) Thacker, both of Columbia; four great-grandchildren, Kaelin Willis, Seth Willis, Jason Gray and Joseph Carter. Active pallbearers are Gary Willis, Kerry Thacker, Jamie Smithson, Jason Gray, Joseph Carter and Seth Willis. Deacons of the Knob Creek Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
