Mrs. Mina Eloise Friedli Gray, 86, resident of Davis Hollow Road in the Boston Community, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at First United Church in Nashville with Rev. Jim Denning officiating. Burial will be in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols in Columbia and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the church. The Nashville native was the daughter of the late Ernest Friedli and Mina Louise Kummer Friedli and a graduate of West End High School. Mrs. Gray was bookkeeper for Tennessee Producers and for a number of years was office manager for Sullivan Cattle Company and Dickson Livestock Market. She was a member of First United Church, the Day Circle and New Century Club. She was married March 27, 1946 to Raymond Winton Gray of Santa Fe, who died November 6, 1981. She was also preceded in death by a son, Alan E. Gray, November 10, 2000. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Gray Strickland of Brentwood; a son, David Raymond (Patricia Jones) Gray of Franklin; daughter-in-law, Linda Qualls Gray of Clearwater, Florida; a sister, Rosemary Friedli Suter of Nashville; five grandchildren, Amy Strickland (Bart) Scruggs of Old Hickory, Douglas Gray of Spring Hill, Patricia Anne Gray (Mike) Hall of Franklin, Samuel Alexander Gray of Murfreesboro, and Kathryn Joan Gray of Queen's Creek, Arizona; two great-grandchildren, John Michael Hall, Jr. and Katharine Elizabeth Scruggs; a niece, Jeritza Sawyers of Nashville; several other nieces and nephews; her church family and many beloved friends. Pallbearers are Bart Scruggs, Mike Hall, Doug Gray, Sam Gray, Stephan Dean, and Tony Sowell.
