Miss Katherine Holt

Miss Katherine Holt, 94, former resident of East Sheepneck Road in Culleoka, died Monday, June 21, 2004 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Rush officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 127, Culleoka, TN, 38451. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Lee Holt and Susie Mitchell Holt. She was the oldest member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include two nephews, Bill (Peggy) Richardson and James (Jeanette) Richardson both of Culleoka; one niece, Jerri Lou Holt Clemons of North Carolina; special friends, Bobby and Judy Wallace of Columbia; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alvy Richardson, Lucy Holt, Mae Straughan and three brothers, John Holt, Lee Holt and Jerry Holt. Pallbearers will be Bobby Wallace, Bart Whatley, Aaron Auiler, Randall Auiler, Harry Askey and Billy Frank Jett.
