Molly Rae Brown

Molly Rae Brown, 28, resident of Lafayette, Indiana, died Friday November 15, 2019 at her residence. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born September 24, 1991 in Brunswick, Maine, she was the daughter of Christine Eybergen Hord and David Earl Brown. In 2009, she graduated from Centennial High School in Franklin then went on to serve in the military police for the Army National Guard for 6 years. Molly had a heart of gold, loved people, and was affectionately known by many as the queen of hugs. She loved butterflies and her kittens, Amy & Rory. She is survived by her mother, Christine Eybergen (Greg) Hord of Columbia, Tennessee; father, David Earl (Teresa) Brown of Topsham, Maine; sisters, Brianna (Shane) Russell of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Jennifer (Cody) Baker of Port Jarvis, New York, and Samantha (Spencer) Murphy of Westfield, Indiana; brothers, Ryan (Erica) Crowley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Evan Thibeault of Topsham, Maine; maternal grandparents, Christian and Esther Eybergen of Columbia, Tennessee; paternal grandfather, Carl Brown of West Bath, Maine; and numerous additional family members including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Betty Brown.
