Mr. Morris Lovell "Bumble" Sneed, 79, died Monday, June 27, 2005 in Houston, Texas. A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Barrett officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4 - 6p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital, 815 Market St., Galveston, Texas, 77550. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. On August 3, 1946 he married June Ann Watson Sneed who preceded him in death in 1982. Mr. Sneed was a retired food product route salesman and former owner of Fraser's Place in Columbia. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lynn (Gary) Woodard of Columbia; three sons, Kenneth Sneed and Johnny (Cindy) Sneed both of Houston, Texas, David (Donna) Sneed of Tomball, Texas; three sisters, Estelle Witherspoon and Margie Sweeney both of Columbia, Christine (Garland) Barlar of Pulaski; three brothers, Toby (Irene) Sneed and Donald (Dottie) Sneed both of Columbia, Bobby (Joy) Sneed of Nashville; twelve grandchildren, Erin Sneed, Kevin Sneed, Kenny Sneed, Leann Stacey, Mark Sneed, Brian Sneed, Angela Longoria, Gwen Sneed, Joey Sneed, Chris Sneed, David A. Sneed, Haley Pipkin; and great-grandchildren, Kayla, Chase, Tyler, Michael, Trevor, James, Tyler, Cierra, Jordan, Preston, Randee, Elisha, Abigail, Savannah, Mason, Channing, Hayden and Cole. He was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Mekih Clark and a brother Ronald Sneed, the twin of Donald.
