View Video Tribute Mr. Edward Covey Fox, 86, former long time resident of Sheepneck Road in the Culleoka community, died Monday, August 29, 2011 at the home of his son, Bobby Fox in Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols with Bro. Wilson Henderson and Rev. Henry Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday after 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus, 1412 Trotwood Ave., Columbia, TN 38401. He was a lifelong farmer and former butcher at Tennessee Valley Packing Co. and attended Highland Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Bobby (Shirley) Fox of Columbia, Michael (Patsy) Fox of Culleoka; daughter, Pam (Roger) Workman of Columbia; grandchildren, Charlie (Melanie) Fox, Jennifer (Brandon) Park, Garry G. Hanvy, Morgan Fox, Robert Workman, Randall (Rachel) Workman, Wendy (Sam) Collins; great-grandchildren, Matthew Fox, Shelby Fox, Justin Fox, Samantha Hanvy, Cole Park, Kaylee Park, William Workman, Alyssa Workman, Lee Workman and Danielle Workman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Luttrell Fox, daughter, Margaret Fox Hanvy, sister, Frances Blackburn and brother, Thomas Fox. Pallbearers will be Charlie Fox, Robert Workman, Randall Workman, Larry Brown, Jerry Blackburn and Jeff Fox.
