Mr. William G. (Jerry) Duvall, 71, retired owner of Duvall Trucking Company, died Sunday, May 6, 2007 at his residence on Bear Creek Pike. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of the late Thomas Marvin Duvall and Beatrice Ring Duvall. He was a 1953 graduate of Central High School and served in the United States Army. He was first married to Lenis Ann Hardison Duvall who died February 22, 2003. On July 23, 2004 he married Mary Ann McKay Duvall of Columbia who survives him. Mr. Duvall was a member of New Lasea Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to his wife are two daughters, Gerrie Lynn (Timothy) Jefferson of Columbia, Lisa Ann Duvall of Nashville; two grandchildren, Emily (Steven) Hood, Elizabeth Jefferson; one great-granddaughter, Holly Hood; two step-children, Jay (Beth) Hosay of Elizabethtown, KY and Dolly (Kevin) Linkous; and four step-grandchildren, Morgan Hosay, Owen Hosay, Jacob Linkous and Lindsey Linkous. Pallbearers will be R.P. Williams, Gary Kiser, David Adams, Houston Vaughn, Jay Hosay, Kevin Linkous, Gene Hight and Nicky Rochelle. Honorary pallbearers will be former employees of William Duvall Trucking Company.
